Our Team
Lawyer and Founder
Parinaz is a real estate and corporate lawyer and the founder of Lak Law Firm.
Prior to forming this firm, Parinaz worked for a boutique law firm in Toronto, where she advised clients on a broad range of corporate/commercial, real estate and estate planning matters.
She has served as a volunteer in various capacities with: The Iran Human Rights Documentation Center, the Iranian Canadian Center for Art and Culture, and Canadian Lawyers for International Human Rights.
She holds a law degree from Shiraz University, Iran (J.D.), a Masters in International Law (LL.M.) from Tehran University, Iran, and a Masters in Law (LL.M.) from the University of Toronto. Parinaz is also a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, Iranian-Canadian Legal Professionals, the Ontario Bar Association and the Iranian Association for United Nations Studies. Parinaz is fluent in English and Farsi.
Summer Student/ Legal Assistant
Kia is a student at the Lincoln Alexander School of Law at Toronto Metropolitan University. He has a strong interest in Business, Tax, and Real Estate law, and is currently working with Lak Law Firm as a Law student/ legal assistant.
During his undergraduate studies at the University of Toronto, he specialized in accounting, which he believes will complement his legal knowledge and skillset. With his education and passion, he is committed to making meaningful contributions to the legal profession.
Articling Student
Fancy is our firm’s articling student with an expected Call to the Bar of June 2025.
She recently completed her LLM from Osgoode Hall Law School and holds a law degree from the University of Birmingham in England. Prior to attending law school, Fancy cultivated her interest in a legal career upon completing an Honours Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto with a double major in Health Policy and Evolutionary Anthropology.
At Lak Law, Fancy mainly focuses on transactional residential real estate law. She is routinely involved in transactional work relating to real estate, as well as the purchase and sale of businesses and corporate re-organization. She aims to create authentic client relationships and treats each file with the utmost care and attention it deserves. Prior to joining Lak Law, Fancy worked primarily in the area of real estate law in boutique law firms in the GTA, providing services in both English and Mandarin.
In her spare time, Fancy enjoys watching films, learning about renaissance and baroque art, and collecting vinyl records.
