Our Team
Lawyer and Founder
Parinaz is a real estate and corporate lawyer and the founder of Lak Law Firm.
Prior to forming this firm, Parinaz worked for a boutique law firm in Toronto, where she advised clients on a broad range of corporate/commercial, real estate and estate planning matters.
She has served as a volunteer in various capacities with: The Iran Human Rights Documentation Center, the Iranian Canadian Center for Art and Culture, and Canadian Lawyers for International Human Rights.
She holds a law degree from Shiraz University, Iran (J.D.), a Masters in International Law (LL.M.) from Tehran University, Iran, and a Masters in Law (LL.M.) from the University of Toronto. Parinaz is also a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, Iranian-Canadian Legal Professionals, the Ontario Bar Association and the Iranian Association for United Nations Studies. Parinaz is fluent in English and Farsi.
Associate Lawyer
Sandra Guo joined Lak Law Firm in 2024 as an Associate in the Real Estate Group. Her practice focuses on all areas of residential real estate law, including purchase, sale, refinance, and assignment transactions. Prior to joining Lak Law Firm, Sandra practices at a boutique law firm in Markham in the areas of residential real estate law, family law and commercial law. Sandra’s experience including drafting and reviewing commercial leases, separation agreement, and she has worked with various types of clients in purchase and sale transactions.
Sandra is committed to maintaining a high level of communication with her clients. She takes the time to truly involve the client and incorporate their goals, concerns, values, and feedback.
Sandra is bilingual in both Chinese and Cantonese.

Paralegal
Jessica holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts Degree with a double major in Criminology and Socio-legal Studies, and Equity Studies from the University of Toronto, and an Ontario College Diploma of the Accelerated Paralegal Program (with Honours) from Seneca Polytechnic (York).
Before joining Lak Law, Jessica worked as a legal assistant dealing with mortgage and real estate transactions, providing services in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin. With her education and passion for continuous growth and learning, she is committed to provide legal services with high ethical and moral integrity.
